1914 Adirondack ChairAll chairs are constructed using treated wood, stainless screws and waterproof glue. All wood is 1 inch for foundations and ¾ by 1 ½ for slat seating, The backs are constructed of 1 by 6 inch wood. All chairs and rockers have barrel backs, curved seats and rolled fronts, all for comfort.
Adirondack chairs have a 24 inch seat and a 34 inch back.

We build the rocker by reverse grain gluing 2 pieces of ¾ by 8 wood together, then cutting out the 2 rockers. This process is used to eliminate the rockers from future warping. Again the back is barreled, curved seat and rounded front. The seating area is 22 inches wide.
