All chairs are constructed using treated wood, stainless screws and waterproof glue. All wood is 1 inch for foundations and ¾ by 1 ½ for slat seating, The backs are constructed of 1 by 6 inch wood. All chairs and rockers have barrel backs, curved seats and rolled fronts, all for comfort.
Adult Adirondack chairs have a 24 inch seat and a 34 inch back.
Youth Adirondack chairs have a 16 inch wide seat.
Double Sette Chair is a companion piece of the same design as the single Sette.
The sitting area is 60 inches wide, with two sitting areas of 24 inches each., and a 12 inch table in the center.
Single Sette chair sets more upright than the Adirondack chair and is easier for elderly people to sit or stand from.
The seat is 24 inches with wide arms.
Child’s desk is 25 inches tall, with a top surface of 25 wide by 25 inches deep.
A four inch shelf is below desk top.
Porch rocker is also made from treated wood.
We build the rocker by reverse grain gluing 2 pieces of ¾ by 8 wood together, then cutting out the 2 rockers. This process is used to eliminate the rockers from future warping. Again the back is barreled, curved seat and rounded front. The seating area is 22 inches wide.
